Promoting Retirement-Savings Access for American Workers by Establishing TrumpIRA.gov

This EO directs the Secretary of the Treasury to establish a website, TrumpIRA.gov, by January 1, 2027, listing private-sector financial institutions offering IRAs under 26 U.S.C. 408 that accept the Federal Saver's Match contribution of up to $1,000 under 26 U.S.C. 6433, maintain net-expense ratios of no more than 0.15 percent, and impose no minimum-contribution or balance requirements. It further directs the Secretary of the Treasury and the Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service to issue guidance on the tax treatment of contributions by tax-exempt organizations to workers' IRAs, directs the Secretaries of the Treasury and Labor to issue regulations or guidance protecting workers and preventing prohibited transactions under 26 U.S.C. 4975, and directs the Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Assistant to the President for Economic Policy, to prepare legislative recommendations codifying the order's policy.
