Summary
This EO seeks to impose "maximum pressure" on the Iranian regime to end its nuclear threat. This includes directing the Secretary of Treasury to impose sanctions and update its policies for Iranian terror proxies; the Secretary of State to impose sanctions and lead campaigns to drive Iran's export of oil to zero and isolate Iran from the rest of the world; US Permanent Representative to the UN to work with allies to further this goal; Secretary of Commerce to conduct export control enforcement of military items; and AG to pursue legal steps to disrupt Iran and its terror proxy.
