Assuring the Security of the State of Qatar

This EO establishes that the United States will consider any armed attack against Qatar as a threat to its own peace and security, committing to take all necessary measures to defend Qatar and restore stability. The order further mandates ongoing joint contingency planning and diplomatic cooperation to guarantee Qatar’s territorial integrity and support its role in mediation and conflict resolution.
