Improving Oversight of Federal Grantmaking

This EO requires federal agencies to implement stricter review processes for discretionary grants, specifically prohibiting grants for activities that promote racial preferences, deny "binary" sex, facilitate illegal immigration, or any other initiative against public safety or American values. Agencies must designate senior officials to oversee grantmaking, prioritize accountability, streamline application requirements, and include terms allowing termination of grants that no longer align with agency priorities or the national interest.
