- EO 14396Executive OrderMar 20, 2026Preserving America's Game
This executive order establishes a policy that no college football game, specifically College Football Playoff or other postseason games, be broadcast in direct conflict with the Army-Navy Game, traditionally played on the second Saturday in December. It directs the Secretary of Commerce and the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission to coordinate with the CFP Committee, the National Collegiate Athletic Association, and broadcast and media rights partners toward establishing an exclusive broadcast window for the Army-Navy Game. It also directs the FCC Chairman to consider reviewing broadcast licensees' public interest obligations to determine whether they would require the game to remain a national service event.
